How do I register my asset?
You do not register your own signage assets on CSAMP. Every billboard, signboard, or other outdoor advertising structure in Delta State is physically visited, measured, and photographed by a DESSAA field enumeration team. They record its exact location, size, and category, and then link it to the owner's account — you never have to "add" an asset yourself.
So if you already have a signage structure standing, you don't need to do anything. DESSAA's field team will find it during their routine enumeration visits, and it will then appear under Assets on your dashboard automatically, with no action needed from you.
What if my asset isn't showing up yet?
If you believe you have a signage structure that hasn't been captured yet — or one that used to be linked to your account but has disappeared — you can let DESSAA know directly using the steps below.
Step 1: Open "Assets"
Click Assets in the sidebar menu on the left (on a phone, tap the ☰ menu icon first).
This opens the My Assets page, which lists every signage structure currently linked to your account.
Step 2: Click "Missing asset?"
At the top-right of the My Assets page, click the Missing asset? button (it has a small flag icon next to it).
A window titled "Report Missing Asset" will pop up in the middle of your screen.
Step 3: Describe the asset
In the Description box, type as much detail as you can — for example, what kind of structure it is (billboard, wall sign, etc.), roughly how big it is, its colour, and anything else that would help someone recognise it in person. Write at least a full sentence — very short entries won't be accepted.
Step 4: Add a landmark (optional)
Just below the description, in the "Landmark / description (optional)" box, you can type a nearby landmark or street name to help the field team find the asset faster — for example "Beside the Total filling station on Airport Road". This is optional but very helpful, especially if you don't share your exact location in Step 5.
Step 5: Answer "Are you close to the sign?"
Below the landmark box, inside a bordered box of its own, you'll see a small toggle switch labelled "Are you close to the sign?" — it looks like a small horizontal pill you can slide left (off) or right (on).
- If you are physically near the sign right now (for example, standing in front of it or nearby), turn the switch on. A new button called "Share my location" will appear just below it — tap it, and your phone or computer will ask for permission to use your location. Allow it, and your exact coordinates will be captured automatically. You'll see a small green message that says "Location captured." once it works. If your device can't get a location, you'll instead see a message saying you can still submit without it.
- If you are not near the sign right now (for example, you're reporting it from home or the office), leave the switch off. This is completely fine — sharing your location is always optional.
Step 6: Click "Submit Report"
Once you're happy with what you've entered, click the blue Submit Report button at the bottom of the window.
You'll see a green confirmation message at the top of the page that says "Missing asset report submitted. We will look into it." — this means DESSAA has received your report.
DESSAA will review your report, and once the field team verifies and captures the asset on-site, it will be linked to your business automatically — you'll then see it appear on your My Assets page.
